Happy Fall Card Set and Gift Box

Greetings crafty friends! Need a fun gift? How about a set of cards with a coordinating gift box! I had too much fun making this set for CutCardStock!

I started with Curious Metallic Mandarin Cardstock. What a yummy color! I stamped the image with Gina K Amalgam ink and heat dried before coloring with fall-inspired Copic markers.

I used Stardream Bronze Metallic Cardstock for the base of the card.

I cut the leaf panel using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die. I then used Altenew’s Bold Alpha Die to cut the word Fall into the leaf paper prior to attaching it so the Bronze paper would show through.

The final step was to heat emboss the word happy on a strip of the Curious Metallic Mandarin Cardstock. The base was then mounted on an A2 card base using Cougar Natural Cardstock. I created a total of 6 cards to complete this set.

Watch the card video here, or on YouTube.

I created the gift box beginning with a 12 x 12 piece of Rustic Kraft Cardstock cut to 9 x 9 inches. Using my Memory Keepers Envelope punch, I started on one side and punched the paper at 3.5 inches and scored the coordinating line. This was done again at 4.5 inches. The paper was rotated lining up the scored lines, punching and scoring on all four sides.

Check out the video for the step by step process.

I embossed the same leaf stamp on the top flap as well as a scrap piece of kraft cardstock. I die cut the small kraft piece along with a bit of the Bronze cardstock with Stitched Hexagon dies from Elizabeth Crafts. I attached the medallion to a band of Mandarin Curious Metallic cardstock.

I love Fall colors and cannot wait to send this to a special friend!
