Hi Crafty Friends!

Wow! I can’t believe we are back in school and summer is over; time to start thinking of fall crafts. Today, I have a cute little monster Halloween card to share.

I started by die cutting Astrobright Orange card stock, Gold Glitter card stock, Kraft Fiber card stock with a stitched rectangle die – two with rounded corners and one with pointed corners.

I then stamped my monster and the sentiment “Trick OR Treat Smell My Feet” onto Kraft Fiber card stock with Versafine Onyx black ink.

I took a white colored pencil and colored over the whole image. I think using white as a base color helps the other colors pop.

I then colored my monster with blue, purple, and orange color pencils. Before I fussy cut the monster out, I placed the stamped image back into my stamp platform and re-stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink to make the black outlines bolder.

I fussy cut the monster out and adhered his feet with an Action Wobble spring so his feet would move around.

Next, I die cut the sentiment out with a stitched banner die.

I adhered all of my layers, placing the sentiment on the top right corner.

I then attached the monster onto the orange card stock then adhered the whole card panel to a 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ cardbase.
