Whenever occasions arise, I always seem to be out of a card at that moment. Is that you too? Sometimes I try and stock up on cards for different occasions, so when that moment arises, I already have something I can use!
“Thinking of you” cards can be used for so many different reasons, and they’re always great to have on hand. Here’s a fun dimensional eyelet lace card you can make and have ready when it’s needed!
Supplies:
- Curious Metallic Cardstock in Poison Ivory
- Mirrisparkle Glitter Cardstock in Evergreen
- Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue
To begin, I designed my card in Silhouette Studio and used a 3D flower shape from their online store. I sized it to fit well on my card, then cut each piece out of Poison Ivory cardstock. The leaf part was cut out of Mirrisparkle Evergreen.
Using just a dot of Tombow adhesive on each set of petals, I began gluing the flower together, creating the 3D effect.
After all the petals have been glued, curl up the edges of each one.
Next, I placed some foam squares onto the eyelet lace piece to create even more dimension.
Once the eyelet lace piece was on the card, I glued the flower and the sentiment onto the card. I love the multi-dimensional look with the same paper color!
Now I have a terrific card that’s ready to go when I need it!
