Crane's Lettra™ is the only paper developed expressly for letterpress printing. Special texture maximizes the letterpress imprint.  Letterpress printing gives any character or image a 3-dimensional aspect, because the ink is pushed into the paper. How visibly it presses into the paper depends on the stock itself as well as on the image being printed.
