    DIY Envelope Liners by CutCardStock

Dress up a plain white or natural square flap A7 envelope by adding a touch of shimmer with CutCardStock's envelope liners.  This easy do it yourself process will take an ordinary envelope and transform it into an elegant, sophisticated envelope.  Match the liner with your invitations for a coordinating invitation ensemble.  The A-7 envelope liners are size 6.5x6.5 inches and when placed in an A7 envelope will line the back of the envelope.  These will only work with CutCardStock's square flap A7 envelopes.

We can make the envelope liners from any of our metallic paper lines.  If you do not see the color you need in the drop down menu please contact us and we can set up a custom order for you.

Steps to transform any of CutCardStock's square flap envelopes into an elegant lined envelope:

    1. Slide Metallic paper liner into open envelope.
    2. Run 1 strip of Tombow Dot Pattern Adhesive runner along the envelope flap under the gummed section of the flap.
    3. Press liner on to adhesive.
    4. Fold envelope flap back into place.

"I wanted to dress up plain invitations I ordered from an online stationery place and purchased the silver liners for A7 square envelopes. They were perfect and easy to insert into the envelopes I received. Very easy to order and arrived quickly. Highly recommend!" --Sarah, customer from Missouri, April 6, 2016

    Questions & Answers

    Ask a Question
    • Can you make a liner for a bar 4 square flap envelope in the curious metallic? If so how much would it be for 125 liners.

This is a question that can be best answered by our customer service department.  Please email admin@cutcardstock.comor fill out our CardStock - Paper Quote form.

    • Do you have curious metallic liners in galvanized? How is it different from ionized? I feel like the stardream metallic in silver is too bright.

If you contact our customer service through email or phone, they can set up a custom order for you for envelope liners from any of the metallic papers that we have in stock.  The galvanized is a bit darker than the Stardream Silver, and the ionized is a more of a metallic gray-medium charcoal color.  Please feel free to browse the Curious Metallic Colors for the online color swatches.

    • Is the only way im going to know the difference between colors is to pay for a swatch card? Ex: what's the difference between Curious Metallic Gold Leaf and Stardream Metallic Gold. Also I wanted to order a dark red card stock but none of the option in the ordering drop down indicated "red" I had jupiter, Mars, amethyst as color choices but I don't know what those look like. Is there a link with swatches and names next to them?

The best way to see a color is to order samples.  Our samples are free, the customer will just need to pay for the shipping costs.   When you choose a color from the drop down, you should see the color swatch on your screen.

Gold Leaf is more of an antique gold and the Stardream Gold is a yellow gold.  Both are metallic papers.

Mars is more of a maroon color and Jupiter is red.  Amethyst is a lavender color.

Please feel free to reach out directly by email or phone to our customer service department as they can help you with both colors and creating an order for envelope liners with a color outside of the colors on this listing.
