Thank You FOR ALL YOU DO Card!

    Hi crafty friends! Happy Monday!

My weekend was busy with Band events, a football game on Friday night, and a band competition on Saturday. The weather is crazy – we went from the 80s to needing to turn the heat on.

Today, I have a thank you card to share with you all. I feel like thank you cards are very important to have on hand at all times; you never know when you might need one.

I started by trimming a piece of Kraft Fiber card stock down to a 5 1/4″ X 4 1/4″ rectangle.

I ran the Kraft Fiber card stock through my die cutting machine with an ornate embossing folder.

To help the embossing pop more, I took some ink in “Red Berry” and rubbed it over the whole embossed piece of card stock.

Next, I die cut a 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ rectangle out of Classic linen card stock with a stitched edge rectangle die.

I love the thickness of the Classic linen card stock, so I stamped a flower image onto it and used some watercolors to color it in. The Classic linen card stock is sturdy enough to hold up to watercolors if you are careful to not use too much water.

After the image was colored in and dry, I die cut it out with a stitched heart and also cut a thin strip out of the center.

The sentiment “Thank You FOR ALL YOU DO” was also stamped onto Classic linen card stock with black Versa Fine ink and die cut out with a stitched banner die.

Everything was layered and adhered together using a tape runner. I did adhere the heart layer with foam tape to add a little bit of dimension to the card.

    Thanks for stopping by today!
