For today's project, I wanted to show an easy panel invitation for Halloween, and some super cute treat containers for favors.

I have always thought that the sour-cream type containers are so cute for favors, but this is my first time giving them a try. First, I cut the 8 1/2" x 11 cardstock to 8 1/2" x 6 and 8 1/2" x 5. Then, I cut the 8 1/2" x 6 into two 4 1/4" x 6" pieces. (I opted for the 6" length to make a longer treat container, you could always shorten if, if you want something smaller). I set the 8 1/2 x 5 piece aside for the invitation.
Finally, tie a bow using ribbon or tulle, secure sentiment, and viola! Cute favors for a fun party!
For the invitation, I cut my remaining 8 1/2" x 5" cardstock to 5" x 7" (A7) size. Then, I printed my sentiment on 8 1/2 x 11 Whipped Cream Cardstock, keeping in mind that the sentiment should be smaller than the 5 x 7 panel. (Mine was 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" when finished). I used a border punch to punch the spider web border.
Next I stamped the owl image next to the "Guess Whooo...." and stamped the spider web and spiders using a second generation stamping technique (ink your stamp, stamp off on scrap paper, then without re-inking the stamp, stamp onto your project for a lighter image).
I adhered the Whipped Cream cardstock to my Orange Fizz base. I adhered a baker's twine bow to the top of the card using a glue dot.
Lastly, I tied black tulle ribbon around the invitation with a knot, and secured my stamped sentiment to the tulle knot using baker's twine.
